2025
Throughout 2025, the fire company responded to a consistent and demanding call volume each month with 272 total responses. Our members handled a wide range of dispatched incidents, including fire responses, service/fire police calls, investigations, accidents, and mutual aid assignments.
Perkiomen Township (140), Collegeville Borough (31), and Upper Providence Township (16) were our top 3 municipalities for responses.
The top 3 incident type dispatches were Fire/CO Alarms (80), Box Alarms (59) with 13 of them being working incidents and Assistance to EMS (26). Each incident was managed with professionalism.
Training remained a cornerstone of our operational readiness. Members participated in 48 company held trainings, including hands-on as well as classroom instruction covering fireground operations, equipment usage, emergency procedures, and incident management. These efforts ensure that our personnel remain capable of operating effectively in both routine and high-risk environments. THANKS to our Training Committee for their commitment in keeping us focused and proficient on the core aspects of our job.
In addition to emergency response and training, the fire company remained actively engaged in other essential activities throughout the year. Duty Crew’s, Public Education, and Community Support events contributed significantly to the overall effectiveness of the organization.
2024
The year 2024 was a year of both remarkable dedication and significant accomplishment for our fire company. We consistently demonstrated our commitment to community safety, training, and improving operational readiness.
In 2024, our fire company was dispatched to a total of 266 incidents. These incidents ranged from structure fires, EMS assists, alarm calls, and vehicle accidents. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of our community, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and skill during each response.
In addition to fire responses, our fire company also provided 112 special services throughout the year. These services included:
• Fire Prevention Education and Public Outreach: We actively participated in Perkiomen Township Community Day, Fire Safety education programs at our schools and daycares, and public outreach efforts to ensure the safety and preparedness of our community members.
• Duty Crew: We provided weekly standby services for the Perkiomen Valley Duty Crew assisting our neighboring companies/departments with manpower and equipment in the event of an emergency dispatch while we were staffed.
• Mutual Aid Support: We assisted neighboring fire companies/departments and EMS contributing resources and manpower to support their operations in non-emergency events such as Fire Police for traffic/crowd control, 4th of July events, Toy Drive, and Fire Prevention Expos.
We are proud that eight (8) of our members graduated from the Firefighter 1 program at the Montgomery County Fire Academy in 2024 with two (2) of our members graduating at the top of their respective classes.
